Overview 

    EPT3600 complies with IEEE802.3ah and PRC Community Industry Standard (YD/T 1475-2006). It fully supports CTC standard, automatic detection and works harmoniously with ONUs made by different manufacturers. EPT3600 has 6 models: EPT3608, EPT3608-2TE, EPT 3612, EPT3612-2TE, EPT3616 and EPT3616-2TE.     

    EPT3600 supports the symmetric uplink/downlink 1.25Gbps PON transmission rate, efficient bandwidth usage and Ethernet services, helping carriers to provide reliable services to their users. 

    Its coupling ratio ups to 1:64, and its support of different hybrid ONU networks minimize the carrier’s investment. 

    EPT3600, based on the edge-cutting technologies, is strong in functions. A few of its functions such as QoS guarantee, SLA and DBA can be easily listed out.

EPON: Abiding by IEEE802.3ah, EPT3600 series meets relevant requirements of EPON OLT regulated in Technical Requirements of "YD/T 1475-2006 and China Telecom EPON Technical Requirements.

◆Uplink interface: EPT3600 series with 8 GE uplink interfaces(4 GE optical ports + 4 GE comboports). EPT36XX-2TE also supports 2-line 10G uplink interfaces.

◆Environmental protection: low power consumption and low operating cost.

◆Layer-3 Function: support layer-3 routing function.

◆Preventing the bus optical fiber: EPT3600 supports that the link can be automatically switched to protect the optical fiber when trouble occurs in the optical fiber. 

◆Power characteristics: support dual-AC, dual-DC and AC/DC power supply. The power supply supports modularized design, hot-swapand EMC-3 standard. It well adapts to the environment.
